23rd May: The Key Ring Lecture

Key Ring is the house magazine of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) British Ring and since its inception in May 2015, our member Geoffrey Newton has been the editor. Together with a team of regular contributors (three of whom are members of The Magi) he produces a lively 32 page journal each month with 16 pages in full colour.

There have been many tricks contributed by Ian Adair, Hans Van Esha, Troyno, Cooper’s Magic Moments, and Barrie Horridge to name a few. In the lecture he will describe as many effects as time permits covering cards, close up, children’s and stage. He has no lecture notes to sell or anything like that but if you need further information about any particular effect he will be pleased to email you the details.

Apart from being our current PRO he is a Life Member of The Magi and three times Past President. He is also a Member of The Inner Magic Circle (with Gold Star) and their Registrar of Memorials and Heritage.
