Table Top Magic Sale

Sellers’ Access & Set-Up from 6.30pm

As an alternative to the traditional magic auction, we will be hosting a Table Top Sale of Magical Items on Tuesday 14th May 2019 at The Irish World Heritage Centre, Manchester.

You are invited to attend as either a buyer or seller (or both!).

Information for Sellers

You can sell anything magical related: books, DVDs, Props & Tricks, memorabilia etc. and is an ideal opportunity to turn all your unwanted magical items into cash!

We have a limited number of tables available, at a cost of just £10 each, which can now be reserved by contacting Mike Sharples, Secretary. Once these tables have been allocated, any additional applicants will be required to supply their own “pasteboard” style tables.

Unlike previous auctions, there will be no commission taken for sales – the only charge will be the £10 table fee.

Magical Dealers are welcome to apply.

Funds raised from the event will be used for future Order of The Magi events.

Selling by a table-top style sale give sellers an opportunity to set their own prices, and the opportunity to haggle on prices, if they so wish.

Don’t forget to bring a cash float so that you can give buyers change! The Irish World Heritage Centre bar will not be able to break notes down.

The more technological minded sellers might want to consider offering payment by PayPal too!

Information for Buyers

Entry for buyers is just £2, including a free raffle ticket. The Irish World Heritage Centre has plenty of free car-parking space. The bar will be open, serving a range of alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees.

A quiet area with seating is provided within the foyer of the venue, so that you can look at your purchases, chat with other magicians etc.

The sale will take place at The Irish World Heritage Centre, 1 Irish Town Way, Off Queens Road, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M8 0RY.

By Tram – Bury Metrolink Line, Queens Road Stop.

By Car – Easy Access from both the M60 & M62 motorways (see map)

Final Thoughts

If you are selling items, it is to your advantage that as many people attend, so don’t forget to promote this event with as many magical friends and groups as possible. To help you do this, there is a Black & White Flyer to print out, and some social media share buttons below!
